John, Union County, SC in 1802

I am not researching these people and have no further information. Just entering information in hopes that someone will be helped.

I have a sheet from the Union County, SC Deed Abstracts:

G, 267-268, 10 Nov 1801. Turner Sisson of Union District to William Galt of same, for $100, 95 acres on north side of Pacolet River on the branches therof adj. James Sprouse, Pridemore, Morehead, Turner Sisson (X) (Seal). Wit: Charles Sisson, Jno Crownover, Jne Sisson. Proved in Union District by the oath of John Covenhoven 25 Jan 1802 before William McCullock, J.P., recorded 1 April 1802."

I noticed the name of Crownover in another paragraph; possible the same name as Covenhoven.
