Couturier is sometimes Butterfield

just wanted to put this out there for future researchers since it took me forever to find the family. I was searching for my ancestor, Anathalie Couturier/Verville, born cJuly 1853/54 (wife of Jean Bapt. Lavallee). She spent most of her adult life in Joliette and Berthier counties, with some time in Connecticut. After many years I've discovered her parents used the last name Butterfield in the USA (where she mainly grew up in Rindge, NH) Parents were Jean/John Butterfield and Mary Phebe Suprenant. That couple married in Southbridge, MA 19 June 1853. Phebe's name is given as Mary "Sippena" on the record. So if you are desperately looking for an elusive Couturier try the last name Butterfield.
