This is a longgg shot but what do I have to lose!!
I am searching the COUTURIER family name for my mother-in-law so I dont really know anything about this family. Only what I have heard and what I have on paper and its not much.
Mother in law is Nancy Taylor
her father was Wilfred Taylor
his father was Dennis Taylor who married Helen Cote who was said to be full blooded indian
this all took place in the state of maine except for the birth of Helen that was NB Canada.
It has been thought that Dennnis father is the one who changed the name to Taylor.
Does this sound like any of your family or do you have any idea where i can start looking???
