Hi dot, our descent is from Denis-Joseph Couturier b. 3-9-1680/81 in L'ancienne-Loret,Canada. He was the son of Jaques Couturier b. 1646 in Queneville, France, d. 1697 in Batiscan Quebec, m. June 1672 in Quebec to Catherine Anenotha, b. Bef. 1649 in La Conception St. Madeleine, Canada d. January 11, 1708/09 in L'Ille de Orleans, Quebec.I have Jean Couturier's father as Jean Couturier b. in Gonneville sur-Mer pres de Caen, Normandy, France. Catherine is the daughter of Chief Nicolas Anenotha Aumont b. Abt. 1620 in Huron Country. He died 3-17-1648/49 in St. Madeleine, Canada. His wife was Jeanne Otrihouandit b. Abt.1620 in Huron Country, d. July 1654 in Quebec. Catherine is my GGGGGGGgrandmother! There is much written about them with the Jesuits and stuff I'll locate some things for you later, Bye, Joanie
