Have just discovered John COUTTS b Aug 1827,Birse, of parents Peter COUTTS and Martha (ms LOW). Parents m 1824, Birse
John m 1855, Lethnot & Navar, Kincardineshire, to Catherine Stewart. He was a shepherd and the family later lived in the East Neuk of Fife.
