trying to do a favor for my mother- she was reminiscing about some friends from her "hippie" days (lol) and asked if I would mind trying to find out whatever happened to them. My mother ran away as a teen and went to California and Oregon in the Early 70s, and in Newport News, she met David and Elaine Cootes (may be spelled Coots, Koots, etc), and their roommate, David Flaven- they would all be around 55-60 years old today- if anyone knows them, please get in touch- Mom would be really thrilled to hear about it.
