Re: Cousino's in Vermont

In Reply to: Cousino's in Vermont by Clement Cousino of 314

My husband's sister married Guy Cousino around 1950 in Addison Co.VT. His father was Peter Cousino and his mother was Bernadette Blaise. They had 19 children. Peter Cousino was the son of Toussaint.

Bernadette Blaise was the daughter of Guy Blaise born 15 November 1887, died April 1970, and his mother was a Rose, and supposedly part Indian.

Guy Cousino had son Guy who is now in his forties who married a Booska in Bristol VT.She must be related to your Aurile Booski.

I know that there were two branches of the Cousino family in the area, but I do not know if they all descended from Toussaint.

Your Joseph must have been a brother of Peter above? I notice that the Toussaint Cousineaus had Benjamin as a middle name. Was this the case in your father's name also?

You are the only lead I have found to Vermont Cousino/Cousineau family. Have you found anything more?

Any help appreciated. Pat King
