COUSINS JAMAICA
I am posting this message in hope that may just maybe someone will be able to help me piece together my paternal family history., believed to be Jamaican white, pos Syrian in the lineage???
So after scrolling through numerous Cousins posts here and on other forums I still seem no closer, so here goes....
I am trying to find information relating to my Cousins lastname and ancestry, my grandafather was Lee, also known as Fitzherbert Cousins birthdate is unknown as with death and location of death although is has been said to be somewhere in Jamaica.
I am lead to believe he derived from either St Mary or Kingston, he had siblings by mother who were different fathers, surnames as I have been told Watson and Williamson, there are brothers Sunny and Javis( emigrated to Canada) that have been named.
Lee, Fitzherbert apparently worked with the Jamaica governement I believe in Agriculture ministry.
Lee fathered 3 children, Joy with his wife, said to be a Jamaican/German white lady, Roy (1940s) and Patrick (1954) both different mothers.
Joy apparently was raised in the family home with Lee her mother, his wife. It has been said they had two longterm helpers by the name of Yvonne and Madge.
Joy may have changed her name through marriage and has been said to have emigrated to Trinidad or another Caribbean island.
My father's mother is Agnes Green born to mother Rose,St Mary. Agnes moved to Kingston, then UK to train in Nursing.
If anyone can help shed some light on my search, or think you may be related please please get in touch. All information however small could be a great cornerstone.
Thanks to all reading in hope of some light.
One Luv
Simone
