my gr gr gr grandfathers name was abraham courtwright......all i know is he had a son that supposedly during or around the civil war had changed his last name to carlton.....i think his first name was richard.....i believe richard was born in nyc..but then ended up in ohio somewhere..i think thats when he went to the civil war...just thought i'd check to see if there is any connection.......fran
