I have just this last week learnt that the grandparents of John Courtoy born Nicolas Jacquinet Jussey 1727 drew up a marriage contract. In this contract, dated 1689 they received land from both the Jacquinet and Constant families in Jussey, Haute Saone region of France.
Edme Jacquinet apparently had a sister Marguerite who was married to Antoine BAUDOT. Other names mentioned include SYMONNIN, GREUILLET.
