I'm unable to give you any more info on the CORTOYS side as my interest is in the PONTIFEX name. The info that I do have, which I have given you, re Dorreen PONTIFEX was from a book of the PONTIFEX family which only followed the male lines down, giving very brief info about the females, in which case it stated Dorreen had married "? CORTOYS" who was a Captain in the Indian Army. According to the book, Dorreen was born in December 1904 at Bath, Somerset, England, which was also the place of marriage. This particular PONTIFEX line is not a direct line of mine - Dorreen was my mother's 4th cousin. Are you directly descended from Oswald & Dorreen - I would be interested to learn of any further descendents. Thank you for the info re Oswald & Dorreen's children. Do you know where the family and the descendents live?
