My doublegreat grandfather was Ernest Courtoy. His daughter, Britannia, was my greatgrandmother. Her daughter, Holland Lee Moree was my grandmother and her son, Ernest Alfred Swilley was my father.

Was Ernest the only one to wind up in the US? That would make Ernest the immigrant ancestor.
