Kathy,
Betty Duke asked me to forward a thank you for the information that you have provided to the Genforum. She is in the middle of a research project at the moment, but afterwards she will study and address your points. Her statement on Howard Carr living in the Haun household does appear to be in error. She said that will have to backtrack and find why she came to that conclusion.
She did have two comments that she wanted me to pass on.
She recollected that Bill Lane, the attorney for Max Courtney, introduced at least three attorneys. She, like I, is puzzled about this, although it is not of major importance.
Also she said she would have welcomed a contact from you so that you could have considered her viewpoint firsthand, rather than just hearing one side before forming your research and opinion.
Betty realizes that it is hard from any perspective to explain all the evidences of both sides. Hopefully when more information comes to light, then the full truth will become clearer to all.
