Here is what information I have on these guys:
Daniel Courtney and Rowley Courtney were brother, sons of James Courtney Sr., and Christian Humphrey. They were two of 11 children that I am aware of. Rowley was born about 1764 and was mentioned in his father's will in 1774. Daniel was born about 1766 and was also mentioned in the will. I have no further information on Rowley after the will.
Daniel married Lucy Jones on Dec 19 1799 in Fauquier and had 6 children that I am aware of: Sarah Ann (1805), Lawson (abt 1810), Alexander (abt 1811), Elias (abt 1812), Waller (about 1815) and James (between 1804-1810).
Elias probably died between 1850-1860 in Fauquier since he last appeared in the census in 1850 in Turner's District.
