I'm looking for the family of Cora May Newberry who was listed in her mother's obit as living in West Plains, MO. in 1949 or Cora's sister's family, Juanita Bridges, of Ft. Smith, AR also in 1949.
Her mother was Pearl (Shackelford)Courtney (1882-1949) who married R.H. Courtney about 1900 in Ark.?. They had all girls: Minnie Bell, Cora May, Rosie Lee who died in 1907, and Juanita who was born about 1910-11, I think, after the death of R.H. Courtney. Juanita married a Mr. Bridges and lived in Ft. Smith, Ark. in 1949.
Pearl (Shackelford)Courtney was my great Aunt and she is buried in Westville, Okla. This is all I know about this family and I'm trying to find more family info.
