Looking for information on Catherine "Kate" Courntey O'Connor. B. 1838/40 in County Cork, Ireland. D. 1932 in Detroit, Michigan. M. Michael Thadeus O'Connor appx. 1864 in Ireland. Immigrated to US between 1864 and 1867. Lived in Ulster Co., NY, Ypsilanti, MI, and finally settled in Detroit's 8th Ward, aka "Corktown" by the 1880s. Children: Cornelius, Timothy, Abbie Leora, Thadeus, John, and James. Oldest son, Cornelius, was a lifelong police officer with the Detroit Police Department.
