Hi Roger, Noticed your reply to Shelley. I think you may have your generations mixed up. Pierre C. (not Jean-Pierre) was married to Marie Houde. We think around 1640 in Bannes, Maine, France. Antoine, their eldest came to Canada in 1659, married Elizabeth Haguin in 1663 at the Jeanne Mance Hospital's chapel. Records are kept at Notre-Dame in Montreal. Genealogically yours, Jean-Pierre C. Founding President of the Courtemanche Family Association.
