My G Grandfather was Samuel Helmer Courts of Port Arthur, Texas. I believe his father's name was Thomas Courts. We have been told the Courts name originally had no "s" on the end, and that the family may have come from England. My grandparents lived in Beaumont, Texas for many years. My grandfather, Hal Ogden Courts, died in 1993(born 1898, Port Arthur, Texas). Would appreciate any information from Samuel's generation back.
