Seeking information about JACOB (Jake) CORT, his family, ancestors and descendants. Jacob was born around 1859 in Iowa, but his parents were born in Pennsylvania. In 1890, Jacob married ESTELLA (Stella) TAYLOR who was born in 1874 in Ripley, Brown County, IL. Jacob and Estella are listed on the 1910 census for Phelps County, NE as living in Industry Township, Phelps County, Nebraska where they owned a farm. They had two children: Claud L. Cort, (b. in 1893 in NE) and GLEN E. CORT (b. in 1898 in NE). If you have any information about any of these individuals, their ancestors, or descendants, we would appreciate your e-mailing us.
