Dear Yvonne:

I'm curious about your message because I have a Harriett Court(s)b. ~ 1850/1852-ish in Coventry who married a John Marriott Bird Greenway. I have not been able to find her parents. They married perhaps 1869 in England (after John returned to England from the US), and in 1870 were in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.

I see your last name is Marriott.

Harriett Court(s) refused to marry John Marriott Bird Greenway, because she was somehow related to him, and made him change his name to "Birdgreenway."

I just wanted to communicate because we share TWO names in common -- Court(s) and Marriott in the Coventry, Warwick area of England.
