I wonder if you have the information regarding Mary Ann Court that some kind person has found for me? There is a death of a Mary Ann McCourt in 1866 aged 75, in Mochrum, who was married to Peter McCourt, Farm Labourer - father unknown, but with a Janet Fishbourne mentioned as probably her mother, although I don't know how this can be traced, since she obviously came from Ireland. Her son, John McCourt, was the informant, but I can't read the name of the farm where he lived. It starts with 'B" and it was in Kirkcowan. I think this has been difficult for us to find because of the "Mc" before "Court." I hope this is helpful to you and means that you can look up the entry for her death now.
