Hello Ann. I am researching Peter Court and Mary Ann. Here is the message I've posted on RootsWeb today:
I am looking for information on Peter Court, who was born around 1800 , to verify that he is my ancestor. I have found a Peter Court who died in Newton Stewart in 1873 with a Mary Johnston listed as his wife. I don't know if he is the father of Michael Court, born around 1825, who married Mary Gibson, and who died in 1905. His mother is listed as Margaret Johnston on the Death Certificate. Perhaps this is a mistake and I wonder if anyone has any further information in order to clarify if this Peter is the father of my ancestor, Michael.
Ann, I don't know if we have the same ancestors or these Courts are relatives or not. I have the same information as you, but wonder if you have the death of your Peter Court, as I have the info from the Death Certificate. Do you know anything about (my) Michael.
