Vintage Victorian Family Photo Album Celluloid
This unique photo album dates to approximately 100 years and documents the death of a family member in 1894. The celluloid cover is trimmed with metal hardware. The binding and back cover is cloth. The binding is in good condition. The clasp is broken. Inside are 32 pages and 44 photos. One is actually a tin type.
The photos portray photos from a Marion, Ohio family. The surnames Moore and Court appear among the photos.
The cover has a few scratches, as shown, but otherwise is in good condition. The inside is in good shape, except for some clear tape used to mount some of the photos a grey tape used on the inside to secure some of the pages to the binding.
The book measures 10 ½” by 8 ½” and is about 2 ½” thick.
