I have a photograph of two females and a male outside a house with the sign 'Mary Ann Court, licensed to sell ale, porter and cider to be consumed on the premises. Dealer in tobacco'. The photo, judging by the clothing styles, dates from the early 1890s and was purchased in England. There is no photographer given so the area is unknown but looks like a rural location or small town. The seller stated that the photograph was originally purchased in Shropshire so there is a possible link to that county. I'd be happy to scan a copy for interested parties.
