Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

In 1824 in Jasper Co., GA, our ggggrandmother Isabella Coursey married Jesse Spear. In 1830 there was a James Coursey living next to them in Jasper Co., and in later years, Monroe Coursey was living with Isabella.

There was also a James Coursey in the Militia Lists of Morgan Co., GA (adjacent to Jasper Co., GA) in 1808-1812. Could your Courseys have landed in GA?

George and Vicky
