I have a Littleberry BURNETT (b. 1808 Edgefield SC, m.1. Nancy Wheeler (b. 1809, d. 1853)[d/o Sarah & Daniel Wheeler], 2. Sarah (b. 1810 SC), d. 1852)[1860] Sarah [1880] [] means Edgefield Co census data. Also have lots of descendents of this person, who seemed to stay in SC. Also have a Samuel b 1783 with no further descendant info which may signify that he left SC. The person who sent me the research on the Burnetts is concentrating on Old Edgefield Dist, SC families. I have him as the son of Pleasant Burnett Sr. m Anna Gentry. If this is the right one, I have a lot of information on the Gentry side of the family and on several of Samuel's siblings. And I have just received a Burnett family line that goes back to John burnett of 1540 which includes Pleasant. However, all of my spelling in Burnett, not Burdett. I too am looking for lost Coursey's in SC. Do you have any other Coursey information other than Sarah m Samuel. My gg-grandfather was John Frankln Coursey b 1839. I'm confused about his parentage as he shows up in 1850 census with a Will Coursey, then in 1860 with Newell, but other members of the household are the same. In 1840 there is a Ewell Coursey with family members that would fit the ages of the first few of the 1850. Will be glad to share anything that you might could use on Burnetts or Coursey's Billie Jones
