I work on the John Franks line of Edgefield Co., SC. You will notice 10/25/1794, William Coursey & Mary his wife, sold to John Franks, planter 460 ac on Goughs branch of Turkey Creek of Savannah River..s/Wm, Coursey, Mary Coursey wit; Allen Coursey.

Also, I have a copy of a Deed of Conveyance.. John and Ann Franks to Charles Coursey of Edgefied, SC on Turkey Creek, a fork of Stephens Creek, Waters of Savannah River, wit Robert Coursey and Wm Bond.

Do you know of any other connection of John Franks and the Coursey family? Where did this Coursey family live before Edgefield, SC??
