I have James Coursey who mrd Parthenia MOTT in Clarke Co., AL Sep 4, 1817. They had one child named Valentine in 1818. Parthenia and son, Valentine are in Texas by 1833/1834 but she is widowed. I think James Coursey may have died in Mississippi in 1830 according to the Woodville Republican.

Would like to learn more about James Coursey. Does anyone share this ancestor?
