George Dewey Drapeau 1899-1978 South Dakota

I'm searching for information on George Dewey Drapeau from the Charles Mix County area of South Dakota. His father's name was Frank, and his mother's name was Maggie Shunk. George was a musician, and he played in an orchestra called the Royal Serenaders from the Wagner area of SD in the mid-1920s. It is possible that he and a young son moved to California after the death of his wife, Hermine Cournoyer, born Dec. 17, 1906. She was enrolled at the Yankton Sioux Agency at the time of the 1932 census. George died in Newark, Almeda County, CA in 1978.
