In "Irish Pedigrees; or The Origin and Stem of the Irish Nation" by John O'Hart, reprinted by Genealogical Publishing, there is quite a bit about the de Courcy (Courcey)family. My family, Jordan, is a branch, named for a de Courcy crusader who fought in a battle at the Jordan River. The Irish invasion took place in 1189 and the de Courcy family was very much involved in Mayo and in Ulster especially. O'Hart's book is very well documented too!
Regards and hope you enjoy the book. Lois.
