Sandra,
Sorry it took me so long to respond.I haven't found there were two wives but can not disprove it either!I have John Frederick Countreman married to Maria Barbara Simon with children Andreas Franz Contreman (no birth date), Conradt Contreman b. 1693 (my 7th ggrandfather), Johan George Contreman b. July 28, 1698, Magdalena Barbara Contreman, Nov 24, 1703, Anna Catharine Countryman b. April 22, 1706, Johan Friedrich Countreman b. Oct 13, 1708, Jacob Countryman Aug 12, 1716.
I have Johann George b. 1698 married to Anna Elizabeth Melchoir no children listed.I believe you might have Conradt and George as one person.I have them as siblings per above.
I have two spouses for Conradt b. 1693.Maria Margaret unknown with children Anna Rosina, Adam b. 1718/1719, Frederick b. 1722, Conrad b. 1724, Jacob b. 1726, Barbara b. 1729, Ann Eva b. 1732, Maria Margaretha b. 1734, and John b.1735/36.Then I have an unknown spouse and two more children, Marks b. 1720 and George b. 1728.I have to wonder if he had just one spouse and all of the children are Conradt's and Maria's.
I would appreciate your thoughts as this line is so confusing to me!
Cindy
