Counterman/Countryman/Mollitor/Molitor

Looking for any information for my husbands family concerning:
John Joseph Mol(l)itor m. to

Beatrice Armenta COUNTERMAN.

Beatrice was born 16 May 1923.
John was the son of Nicholas Mollitor
b. 8 Sep 1861 Chicago
res. in Kent Co., Michigan
d. 1943 Otsego, bur. St. Margrets Cem.
Married to a Margaret, (her last name could be Till Danz. As this is what the family verbaly says)
she was born 1865 in Germany/ Luxenburg and d. 1928 in Michigan
Nicholas was the son of Peter Mollitor b. 1825 married to Catherina ?
I realize that this Mollitor family is with two "L's"......the family says that when Peter came to america it may of changed or that the family may of had a falling out and some changed the spelling.
(funny way of getting even when your angry with relatives)
John Joseph Mollitor family moved to Alabama and Florida later.

Thanks,
Connie :-)
