Hello Les,

I was born in Burlington NC. I come from a textile community of Carolina. Councilmans were living there since the Civil War times. My gg-grandpa was Michal Councilman; my g-grandpa was William Henry Councilman; my granddaddy was Royal Fleecewood Councilman. GG-grandpa had sons; A. Worth, Walter, my g-grandpa; his daughters were Octavia, Rose and I know that he had more children. My granpddaddy had some brothers and sisteres, but I cannot recall the names at the present time. My mother's family include David, RF, David and three sisters. Hope this helps.
