We are still looking for males to participate in the Council, Counsell, Counsil DNA Project. We have three now.
We are testing the Y-chromosome. The Y-chromosome is passes from father to son as the surname. What are we trying to do? To get together as many Council, Counsell, Counsil members as we can to either prove or disprove the many theories surrounding the family and its orgins. DNA will confirm Council links where no conventioal source record exist. The Councils are a really interesting family so I invite you Council members to join us or at least look at the website and than decide.
