Coulter. he was born Feb. 13, 1882, being 49 years, 2 months and 11 days old at the time of his going. He was united in marriage to Margaret Rebecca Long on Aug. 5, 1918. To their union was born 3 children, Haulena, Grace and Ed. All who are left to mourn his death, besides an aged father, John Coulter, an invalid mother, Margaret Everett Coulter; one brother, W.H. Coulter; four sisters, Mrs. W.C. Teffeteller, Mrs. L.V. Grow, Mary and Johnnie Coulter, besides a host of relatives and friends. One brother, Ed Coulter, and one sister, Nora Coulter, have preceded him. Jim was sick only a short time, but bore his suffering with great patience. All was done for him that loving hands could do, but God, our loving Master said you've suffered enough, come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, I will give you rest. Though his life was filled with toils, he never seemed to tire when he could be of service to his family or friends. He was a man of high morals, made friends with all he came in contact. The large crowd that attended his funeral and the many beautiful flowers was a demonstration of how highly he was esteemed by his friends. It seems so hard to have to part from him, but let us be submissive to God's will and look beyond this veil of tears to a land where no sorrows can molest. He told his friends and loved ones that he had committed himself into the Lord's care a short while before the end came. He was laid to rest in the Piney Level Cemetery under a blanket of beautiful flowers to await the coming of our Lord. Rev. Arthur Walker had charge of the service. The pallbearers were: John, W.J., Albert and Tom Long. The flower girls were: Mrs. Earl Ferguson, Mrs. Floyd Pierce, Mrs. John Dunn, Misses Ethel Coulter, Willie and Ruby Long."
