Hi

I believe that Marie Maria Coulter and Charles William Bailey are my great-great grandparents! I have birth certificates for 2 children from their marriage (on which the mothers name is Mary Maria Coulter - slightly different). I am descended from their son Charles Thomas Bailey, born 1893. His sister is Maria Jane Bailey, born 1891. I have not yet found further children and have not yet looked into what happened to Maria Jane.

I believe that Charles William was in the Navy (on the "Triumph" in 1881), before becoming a Coastguard. I have found records of the couple in Craster, Embleton, Northumberland in 1891 and in Fosdyke, Lincolnshire in 1901.

I hope that you are still looking for family, as I really think we are looking at the same people. Would be great to hear anything else you can tell me about that side of the family.

Jo
