I have a record of Thomas Couling born abt 1849 at Timberland Lincolshire (AFN:LS9B-2W) married Mary Adlard at Timberland 16 May 1876. My ancecester David Couling 1801 Ruskington, had 4 sons James 1829, Fredrick 1834, William 1837, and Samuel 1840, all born in North or South Rauceby. Timberland is 10 miles from Rauceby. It is possible that David Couling 1801 had a brother and Thomas is a son from him. All Parish records are kept at the Lincoln Records Office, Lincoln. England, and they will do a search. I have visited this Record Office and they have all the Parish records from 1900 back to the 1600s. However, I have only seached my line back to 1790 todate. Try the Mormon Church webb site www.familysearch.org this is where I obtained my basic search details on my ancesters from. The Records Office filled in the details.
