I am one of a group working on an official history of the Wisconsin 23rd Regiment . One of our men is James R. Couillard who enlisted 9 Aug 1862 at Madison, Dane Co., WI
This is all the information we have. If you can help us fill in any of our blanks we would be grateful.
The format we are using is as follows: (We have his service record)
