George LINDSAY was born circa 1807 in the County of Armagh, Ireland, possibly Kilmore. He married Mary (McKENZIE) (SHERIDAN) born circa 1810. She was 1st married to Michael ? Sheridan and had 3 children: Margaret, born 4 October 1829, married William FLANNIGAN; Hannah, married Edward COUGHLIN; Anne, born about 1830, married Henry LINDSAY (the brother ? of her mother's 2nd husband). Mary McKENZIE SHERIDAN married 2nd to George LINDSAY, a canal boat owner,in Remsen, Oneida County, New York, They had the following children:
1. Jane Eliza born in Ireland circa 1840
2. Mary Ann born in Ireland circa 1843
3. Sarah born circa 1847 in New York, died 30 May 1933 in
Sheboygan Co., WI, married 30 January 1870 to Michael
MURRAY.
4. George W. born circa 1848 in New York, d 1924 in
Mitchell, Sheb. Co., WI, married on November 1, 1879 to
Agnes O'CONNELL
5. John A. born May 5, 1849 in New York, died 19 Jan 1873 in
Sheboygan Co., WI., married 19 January 1873 to Margaret
O'BRIEN
??? 428 Edward McKENZIE age 40 born in Ireland (born circa 1810) (Brother of Mary McKENZIE (SHERIDAN) LINDSAY)
