Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that in Salisbury(Rowan County),NC it pronounced various ways. Our Family pronounces it Co-hen-our,but in this area it has been Corn-hour Cough-enour Coog-henour etc.A Cousin of mine traced our family history to Germany through Pa. and down south. It is very interesting to find out about the family history. Thanks Brian Coughenour
