Hi Steve,

No, I don't have the film. This was in my collection of misc. COUCHMAN info I've collected over the years.

It was transcribed from a film or fiche by another COUCHMAN researcher. At least you now have a jumping off point to continue your research.

It only cost a few dollars ( less in quid )to rent these films from the LDS Church for about a three week period. They keep them on-site but they can be viewed at any time during their hrs of operation. I think you can extend the rental indefinitely, but I'm not sure on cost.

I wandered into an LDS history center a good number of years ago and as luck would have it, someone had ordered the 1891 Census and the parish register for New Romney, Kent. In the space of about an hour I discovered my gggrandparents together with their children. Most of these people were completely unknown to me. That's basically how I got started, so it's definitely worth the effort.

Good Luck,

Bernard
