Looking for a birth record on her she is my husbands g-grandmother. So far I have her being born out of Kentucky in 1884.I am looking for information prior to 1900, were I find her in the Buchannan home. It shows she is the daughter to head of household, but further information is telling me that (Marie E Couch,Mary Reed,Mariah Southard) is her mother and that Father is William Allen Couch from Georgia. Prior to the 1900 Census Iam not able to place Vernie Couch in these two parents home. Is she a Couch or did she marry a Couch or adopted.
