Nellie Wells, wife of George Sumner Couch, is my great grandaunt, daughter of Rev. George Chauncey Wells, b. 16 Mar 1819, Colchester, New London, CT., d. 31 May 1873, Minneapolis, Hennepin, MN, and Elvenah Cooper Raymond, b. 2 Oct 1826, Rensselaerville, Albany, NY, d. 6 Jun 1869, Albany, Albany, NY. They were married 12 May 1844 in Rensselaerville.
Geoorge Wells is buried in Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, and Elvenah is buried in Albany Rural Cemetery, Albany.
Elvenah 'Nellie' Wells Couch was born 1 Oct 1855 in Glens Falls, Saratoga, NY, died 8 Feb 1928, Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA. She married George Sumner Couch about 1876 in Minneapolis. He was born 11 Oct 1854 in Gorham, Ontario, NY, d. 21 Feb 1921, Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA.
