This note is in response to an old query about John Couch, who died 1840 in Kentucky.
I know this family I know who John Couch's wife was - Mary Anderson born 1790 in VA - she is my 6th great aunt and is
from the ANDERSON line that was the first of the name to settle in Virgina about 1635 ... John Couch was the son of Captain
James Couch who also had childen named James, Mary Ann, Edward and Marshall - I am very interested in these siblings -
who, by the way married into the same ANDERSON family - The Couchs and Andersons came out of Buckingham County
VA - which was a burned county and the records almost non existant - Please email me as I don't check this forum as often as
my Email - I know of another descendant of this Caldonia Couch ... By the Way - I think her father's name was not Orrell but
rather Orville Gist Couch - Gist being a name from the Anderson
side ... Jerry Anderson <== not descended from a Couch (wink)
