Looking for ancestors of Earl Waitman Cottrill. The information is from the family Bible of Mary Pearl Cottrill:
Earl Waitman Cottrill, b. 08 Jul 1888, m. 06 Sep 1908 Ulma Lorne Thornberry, b. 10 Jan 1881, 3 children:
Otis Le Roy, b. 02 Jul 1910, m. 15 Jun 1935 Mary Jane De Moss
May Luella, b. 27 Oct 1912, m. Jan 1930 Brent W. Morgan, 2 children: Brent W. Morgan, b. 22 Oct 1930 & Lorna May Morgan, b. 27 Nov 1931.
Mary Pearl, b. 14 Oct 1914, m. 1st, 03 Sep 1930 William Hemingway, 1 child: Waitman Todd Hemingway, b. 24 Jul 1931.
Now, according to the Bible entries, it shows the birth of Waitman Todd (24 Jul 1931) and the marriage of Todd W. (05 Mar 1950), so I'm assuming that Waitman Todd and Todd W. are the same person. Todd, married Grace L. Adams 05 Mar 1950 and had 3 children, with their oldest, Kathy Suzanne being my ex.
m. 2nd, Kenneth H. Williams, 1 child: Kenneth H. Williams, Jr., b. 06 Nov 1954.
If I remember the story correctly, Kenny (father) drove truck for Pepsi in Lost Creek, WV.
When I met Pearl & Kenny was back in 1970 in Lost Creek. She told many stories and unfortunately, I didn't write any of them down.
