George Cottrall Sr. was in the 1802 census of Michigan in St. Clair Township. He lived near Henry and William Tucker whose father, William Tucker Sr. was born 1745 in NJ, abducted by Indians in Shenandoah Co., Va. in 1756, and raised by those Indians in the outlying areas of Fort Detroit and in today's Macomb Co.Henry and David Cottrell still lived in today's Macomb Co. in the 1820 census and still near the Tuckers. In the 1830 census John Cottrell was still living in Macomb Co. down the road from a lot of Tuckers in Harrison Twp.Most of the Cotrells, however, had gone to Cottreville Twp.Eventually in 1889, Alice Cottrell married Lafayette Tucker.I'm not related to this line; just thought I'd pass this on.
