Hey out there! This is Simone Cottrell! I'm looking for some sort of Cottrell family past that is relevant to me. All I know is that William Edward was a traditional name for the first born boy in each family, my grandfather (William Edward Cottrell) was a seamerchant in Mobile, AL, and most of the Cottrell family was from Mobile, and my great great grandfather's horse won the Kentucky Derby. My ancestors were Roman Catholic and from England. If anybody knows ANYTHING please reply.
