Hi Jim --
You've found another cousin -- although a distant one. My grandmother's side of the family on my mother's side are descendents of John Cottrill through John G. Cottrell and Tabitha Buckalew, then William J. Cottrell and Mary Thornton. One of their (8?) children, Lula Estella Cottrill, born 1882, was my greatgrandmother. Somewhere I have the rest of the information from family bibles and headstones. We should get together. Kathy from California.
