I have a Stonewall Cottrell son of Charles W. Cottrell who married Susan Alice Thurmond. Stonewall was married to Lura Dublin. Charles was killed in Kentucky when he was on his way to see about an inheritance in England. How did he end up in Kentucky? Would you share your information with me. I have Charles as being born in 1838. He and his brother Jim, who was a lawyer lived for a time in Illinois and Charles was married to his first wife there.
