Ann Peabody married Jabez Cottrell, son of Nicholas Cottrell, first mentioned on list of inhabitants of Newport RI on 20 May 1638, and wife Martha Hall Cottrell. Jabez was executor of his father's will Feb. 1680. (Record: Bierce/Cottrell ancestors, printed 1962)
